WHY YOU NEED TO THINK ABOUT BASIC ELEMENTS FOR YOUR EVENT TO STAND OUT
Sometimes when you’re looking to personalize your event or think “outside of the box” the struggle can be too real. Most of the time, we’re thinking about the wrong thing, such as, “what kind of huge idea can I come up with?” Instead, think about the basics and how you can alter them to make them unique to you. For example, a basic element for any event is chairs. With so many options, it can be difficult to choose the perfect chair for your event. This is the time to get creative!
One trend on the rise for 2018 is playing by your own rules, mixing and matching and going with a theme instead of a full color palette. With this in mind, we’ve come up with some different ideas for you to think about the next time you want your event to stand out. We’re going back to the basics and discussing unique ways to incorporate chairs for your event!
All Metallic
One of our favorite trends is an all metallic wedding or event. Mixing gold, silver and rose gold for décor, linens, fashion, etc. is the perfect way to create a dazzling, chic and elegant design. Mixing metallics can also be done with it comes to chairs, of course. Alternating silver and gold Chivari chairs at each table, or in each aisle for a ceremony, can be a show stopping, classy and still an “out of the box” design to set your event apart in a stunning fashion.
All Acrylic
Instead of mixing colors, using all acrylic chairs with differing designs is a creatively subtle way of going against the grain of a perfectly matching design. Try mixing Chivari and Phoenix chairs by table. Offset the design with alternating linens as well, such as a blue linen to compliment the Phoenix chairs and a gray linen to compliment the Chivari style chairs, for example. This design may prove to still have a uniform look but will be different enough to get your guests talking about your creativity.
All Natural
For a rustic, garden or natural look, the decision between fruitwood Chivari, whitewash Chivari or wooden Crossback chairs can be a little stressful because, most of the time, they all look great! Mixing fruitwood and whitewash Chivari chairs can create a nice balance of dark and light colors to your event and add some interest to the look of this basic element. Incorporating various chairs with similar or complimentary “styles,” such as chairs with rustic or natural looking colors and designs, create an “organized chaos” or even a vintage feel to your event.
